New Funding available for all school buses in California. The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District announced the opening of the Statewide School Bus Retrofit Program, open to ALL school buses and air districts statewide. Program is to provide financial assistance to California school districts with early compliance of CARB’s Truck and Bus Regulation.

The program will provide incentive funds of up to $20,000 per school bus to retrofit 1987 and newer model year engine school buses with a CARB verified Level-3 diesel emissions control strategy (VDECS). Deadline: March 12th, 5:00pm

Attention Owners and OperatorsThe new Truck and Bus Reporting System Deadline had been Extended to March 31ST. Owners and Operators of 1-3 vehicles can report to take advantage of compliance options for vehicles that are GVWR >26,000 , EMY 1996-1999, but only if reporting is done.

Owners and Operators of Larger fleets can comply as well to take advantage of Compliance options.
